Our receptionists will book you a consultation appointment, and provide you with any further information required.
At the consultation, your dentist will carry out a full dental examination, with X-rays if required, and discuss any concerns you have, or issues we find. If you have had X-rays recently at another practice please let us know as we may be able to have them forwarded to us meaning that they do not need to be repeated and can be useful for monitoring changes in your teeth.
If any work is required we will discuss what options are available and together formulate a personalised care plan to provide the treatment you want to achieve good oral health. You will then be provided with an itemised treatment plan which includes the associated costs of any necessary treatments and the reception team can then arrange any further appointments.
Unlike in medical practices there are no Geographic restrictions on where patients register for their dental care so though many of our patients are based in Caversham and Reading we see a lot of people from further afield and can even treat people who are just visiting the area but need emergency care.
Please note that we are a private practice. We do, however, accept children on the NHS up to the age of 19 if in full time education, and 18 if not. We apologise but as of March 2019 we are temporarily unable to accept any new NHS patients due to limits placed by our NHS contract on how many patients we are allowed to treat each year.
Denplan / Insurance
There are many types of insurance, which provide an opportunity to spread and protect against the cost of dental treatment. If you already have an insurance policy, please inform your dentist at your first appointment.
